The local Merwah, Marini and Sangiovese were picked middle of September / October – late in harvest as they are late ripening varieties in the area (cold nights at the end of summer). Left on skins for 3 weeks there are light tannins, big watermelon and blackcurrant vibes. Medium acidity. Refreshing. Salty. Perfect for summer.
